Our Mission

Board of School Superintendents was founded to support leaders in public education who seek to make a real difference in the world. We serve progressive leaders who seek to solve complex problems using evidence based decision making. Our belief, supported by meta research, is that the fastest and most successful changes to public education happens through the skills of effective leaders. 

We know and value the power of deep listening, reflective learning and absolute confidentiality for every participant. In this time of isolation for most leaders, we ensure that the time you spend in the cohort is based on your needs, provides innovative solutions to complex issues, and, we will send you home each month replenished and ready for the next challenge presented.

Healthy and resilient leaders are vital to delivering a shared community vision, inspiring change and improving outcomes for students.  For that reason, the health and well-being of a school district leader is of the utmost importance.  Today, district leaders face immense challenges by the disruptive nature of the pandemic on the school system and its students, staff, families and communities.

BOSS Cohort Learning is our proven methodology to support leaders while they do the job. We help leaders reflect, identify and solve problems and return to their community with renewed confidence and courage. 

We provide meaningful professional support when it is needed most.  BOSS Facilitators lead monthly meetings in a safe, confidential setting to reflect, practice new methods for decision-making and find more peace in the shared leadership journey.
